Nana and Papa decided (with some encouragement I am sure) to give us all a little vacation to San Diego for Christmas. It was awesome! We stayed in an enourmous home on the beach in Oceanside--three stories and a room for each family and not to mention lots of other space too! The kids camped at the bottom which was ocean level and there were bunkbeds and a TV- a kiddo's dream come true, especially spending it with cousins!
As soon as we got there, it was off to the beach which was out our back door. It was an amazingly warm day (as was our whole week there which we really appreciated with it being the first week of January and cold back home!). Everyone loved the ocean....even though the water was nice and cool!

No trip to Sand Diego would be complete without a trip to the Mormon Battalion Memorial. Since it has been redone, it was super fun for everyone...more pics to come!
