Oh, where does time go? I blinked and my baby is turned 5 on Saturday! It's so crazy to me...she's growing up so fast! I love to watch her learn and grow, but I wouldn't mind if she stayed little forever!
Saturday promised to be a busy and fun day and it was! Reagan had her first soccer game. The "Sparklers" did great and Reagan had so much fun! She kicked the ball tons and was always in the middle of the pack! That was exciting for Mom and Dad, as last year we had to bribe her to even kick the ball 5x's in a game! This year is much different-- her enthusiasm is contagious and she even loves the competition of it--keeping track of each goal and who won...A tie--2 to 2 was a new concept for her though!
Reagan had a Birthday Luau in the afternoon, complete with an erupting volcano, pineapple and coconut bowling, and lots of water and sand! (Ooops! We forgot to limbo!) After inviting family and a few friends...our party sprung into action. The girls liked playing in the swimming pool and sand box, the boys--going down the big water slide, and the little ones enjoyed hanging out in the canoe. After some island food--the hula girl pinata was a hit (but difficult to break)! Pictures and lots of presents...family and friends... what fun! Reagan loved it ALL!!!
At the end of her big day, my little "Island Princess" crawled into bed and gave me a big hug and said, "Mom, this was the best birthday ever!" My heart melted. That's what birthdays...and memories are made of! Thanks to everyone who came and helped make Reagan's day special!

That party sounds like it was so fun! What a great mom you are to do such a fun party for her :o) I am totally with you on time flying. Every birthday I think 'where did another year go?' They grow up WAY too fast!

Way to go with the party. It was a blast and you definitly out did our Luau party. Stinker!! j/k WE had a blast and can't wait to see what you do for Travis' party.
The party was fun there were a lot of tears because it was time to go! So sad that they are getting so big!
