Reagan has been begging for months to cut her hair. She has loved it long, but in the hot summer months, it isn't very fun. Also this summer, she got a taste of being able to do her hair herself and was convinced if it was short, she could do it. SO... after much debate and a bit of sadness on my part (I love her long golden locks, even if it does mean 15+ minutes of my day creating a cute do!), Reagan decided it was time.
After looking up the details on line, Reagan thought it would cool to donate her lovely locks to Locks for Love so "some other little girl can have pretty hair like mine."
Before 10+ inches were cut off:
Aunt Amy our very talented hair specialist (who we love and appreciate so much!) cutting off the locks:
After...a whole new Reagan and some beautiful hair for another special girl:
Reagan looks so grown up now and simply adores her new cut! She couldn't wait to show it off to all her friends (who some of which didn't even recognize her she swears!) She is loving "doing" her hair with minimal help...and Dad is enjoying no braiding!
Right after Amy cut it:
Travis followed suit this week and Amy cut off his locks too this week! I will miss his curls....and now he looks so grown up too!
Dirty faces!
Silly faces!
So handsome!
Beautiful kids--even if I do say so myself...no matter the hair style! We are blessed!

Reagan is looking more and more like the beautiful 7 year old that she is!
Congrats on choosing such a great cause Reagan!!
John recently gave our boys buzzes. I just told him they had to be a little bit longer on top.
